Profulla Chandra Bezbaroa made a stock of innumerable books, journal etc. and preserved for serveral generation to developed the libaray. An inspection team from Indira Gandhi national Arts came to visit the Library and was facinated by seeing the invaluable assets.

Profulla Chandra Bezbaroa was the intellectual successor of sahityarathi Lakhminath Bezbaroa post graduted from Kashi Hindu University in English literature. He completed degree in law and took the profession of Lawyer but his heart was filled with patriotisimed and regional consiousness.he was always in serch of knowledge. he had a deep responsibility towards the society .Another expect of his personality is fond of Assam. Never he compromised with the evils of Assam and Assamesesociety. therefore he took active part in language movement, Assamese medium movement and historic Assam in late and was immprisioned for several days on 12th february 2011 is secrate soul pass away heavenly aboard.
